Monday, April 21, 8am at Capitol Hill
With peace in the region being questioned, Florida Congress members calling for a state sponsor of terrorism designation, and US presidential candidates making ill informed remarks on Venezuela, there is a bulk of factual and first hand information that members of Congress should be made aware of.
On Monday, April 21 at 8am, we will gather to take our message, armed with all that we have learned over the weekend, to Capitol Hill. There is nothing more effective than a personal message from a constituent. If you have never done this before, don’t worry, we will kick the day off with a prep session and answer any questions you may have about the lobby day.
On Monday morning we will divide into groups to make sure we visit the most key Congressmen on Venezuela including your own. We could even try to meet with staff members in the offices of Senators Obama and Clinton! Let’s hit the ground running in support of the Bolivarian process!
